State of the Union

Shit, its been a long time since I posted on LJ. What can I say? Its been a damn good couple of weeks in good ole Mad-Town. Still wallowing around and searching for the meaning of life, but for the most part, life is good.

Yes, its going to be another semester where I start off saying that it will be the perfect semester and I'll have time for myself. Truth is, I swear that I've never been so swamped with stuff to get done. Air Force, Arnold Air Society, ASM, Campaign to Support the Troops, State Legislature work (Joint Finance Committee and Veterans Affairs) .. yeah ... we're still working to lower your tuition, so eat me. Each day I'm getting more and more sick of the Democrats and the Republicans, but I'm still having fun putting it off that I'm part of the conservative camp. I don't even know which party I'm a part of anymore because its starting to feel like the arguments that mom and dad had in the middle of the night during childhood. Haha, yup, I feel like blaiming it all on the younger years ... thats what all the psycho-important people do these days, isn't it?

Honestly, life is one big joke... but at least you get to live the punchline ...
